It is such a fun and exciting process which I do not take lightly! It is such a privilege to be working with you to create your dream painting. The first step is easy and something you may have already done. Have a look through my Instagram and my website and find the artwork or artworks that speak to you the strongest. Take note of what it is you like about them. Is it the colour? Or the style? etc.

The nexs step is to send me an email to let me know you are interested in working with me, and I will add you to the waitlist!

This is also a great time to attach the pictures of the artwork you have found. If you are happy to, it can also be helpful to send a photo of your space or even the colours of your furniture/accents you would like to highlight so I can get really clear on what you are looking for. If you know an approximate size add this in too, but if you are unsure I can help guide you to a decision with this also.

You will then receive an email from me which will go deeper into your idea, timeframe and what size you're looking for, then I'll be able to provide you with a quote or a few price/size options and confirm I can complete your piece within the timeframe you're looking for (I love working on pieces for special occasions).

Once you have confirmed the quote, you pay your 30% deposit and I book you in and let you know when I'll be in contact to discuss your piece in further detail.

When that time comes we'll either chat via email, over the phone or catch up in person if it is possible to discuss your piece further, whatever you feel more comfortable with.

In this meeting we will discuss more in depth what you're looking for, talking colour pallets and what you are hoping to capture in this piece, don’t worry I make this easy, and then we will start this beautiful journey together.

I will then order the specific canvas if I don’t have one in my studio ready to go.

I will then get to work and start painting your painting. My process can be quite intuitive which is where most of the magic happens!

This is where the interest, layers, and beautiful details come to life.

Once the painting is near completion and looking the way I envisioned, I’ll send through some photos with progress images from along the way. This allows us to check in and make any changes before I start the final details. My biggest priority is to make sure you are happy with everything.

From here I'll add any tweaks and finish off the final details, and send images for you to approve. If you live locally, we can organise a studio visit for you to see it in person. Once the final piece has your tick of approval, I'll ask for your final payment so your piece is all paid for by the time of pick up/shipping! I will then varnish and package your painting.

Depending on your destination I will ship the painting to you as we would have discussed prior to starting the piece. If you are located outside of Australia this will be sent rolled in a tube, to be re-stretched by your local framer.

The process usually takes 6 weeks once we catch up from your book-in date. This varies depending on the painting's complexity and how long we spend in the initial planning stage. I'll keep you updated on timeframes all the way through and I am committed to finishing paintings on time if they have a specific date.

It actually doesn’t cost much more than an existing original painting. It is a slightly higher price to cover the extra time it takes to work on a brief and liaise with you. If you would like specific prices upfront contact me here and I can send you the price list.
